ian is a builder with a passion for the craft, whether in a career delivering digital products nationwide, or in his creative endeavors: He has a piano and music YouTube channel with over 2 million views, sold his music production overseas, and was a runner-up in the international Song of the Year songwriting competition.
Through songwriting he found that words themselves are already basically music, and has since rekindled his passion for writing.
Outside of music, as a Chinese-Canadian living in Toronto, his writing often reflects upon the second generation immigrant experience and Asian representation in Western culture. He has been published in the Globe and Mail and ThatShelf.com.
